Exhibition: Proseed Gallery, Exhibit A

Artist and curator Daniel Ibbotson launched a new venture with this exhibition at Laidlaw Auction House in Carlisle. The show made full use of a bright, open space and brought together a range of contemporary artists.

I showed three works.

One was a drawing made in response to a piece of music by a colleague at art college. It usually hangs in my office because I haven’t been ready to part with it.

Alongside that, I showed two monoprint drypoints from recent experiments with a partly robot-assisted printmaking process. They were the first prints I made using an etching press I’d acquired earlier in the year.
